“Don’t Bug Jesus!”Join our summer men’s group for an in-depth study of Dane Ortlund’s book, “Gentle and Lowly.” This concise book (which makes it perfect for men that don’t particularly like to read) aims to help us better understand the heart of Jesus. It’s written for ordinary Christians, those who are sinners and sufferers. Through thoughtful discussions, reflections, and shared prayer, we’ll grow in our faith, learn how Scripture reveals Jesus’s character and mission, and emerge with renewed purpose and conviction.
20s/30s Men—Where Prayer Becomes RealHave you ever been afraid to admit that prayer feels boring? Maybe your mind wanders, you feel like prayer is an obligation, and you’re getting real tired of talking to the ceiling? "Where Prayer Becomes Real" by Kyle Strobel and John Coe begins exactly there, and argues that bringing our honest, unedited selves before God is where transformation starts. This group for men in their 20s and 30s is built on that conviction. Come join a safe, judgment-free space where honesty about our hidden lives and unspoken patterns is not only welcome but the whole point. No pretenses, no performances. Just men growing together toward God and building strong community. This group meets on Thursday evenings at my home in West St. Paul throughout the summer.
8 Psalms of LifeA Psalm for Every Situation. We sometimes feel like we need to curate our emotions when we talk to God. But God wants us to come to him honestly, no matter what we are feeling or going through. Join Bible teacher Lisa Harper as she teaches from the book of Psalms, looking at the variety of circumstances faced by followers of God. In this eight-session series, we learn how to find comfort in any situation based on this songbook of the people of God. We will watch and discuss a video each week.

Whether newly married, blended families, seasoned, or empty nesters, couples in every circumstance will feel understood and equipped by the biblical wisdom and authentic stories from wise marriage mentors. Carpenter's Call: Free Home Maintenance & RepairCarpenter's Call is a hands-on ministry inspired by Jesus, the carpenter who served others with His hands and heart. We answer His call to serve homeowners in our community who are struggling to maintain their properties. Whether it's a single parent overwhelmed by home repairs, an elderly neighbor who can't safely maintain their property, or a family facing financial hardship—we show up with tools, skills, and the love of Christ. This isn't just about fixing homes; it's about building relationships, demonstrating God's love through action, and growing together as we serve. Like Jesus who built with wood and nails, we use our hands to build His kingdom one home at a time. Each week, we'll tackle a different project, pray with and for the families we serve, and encourage one another in our walk with Jesus.

Join us for a lakeside Vinyasa-style practice in Coon Rapids, surrounded by God's creation. We both have been practicing yoga for years, & Jenn recently completed her yoga teacher certification. Our hope is to create a welcoming space where we can grow in our faith, build friendships, care for the body God has given us, & glorify Him. I've been attending Cait's virtual Bible studies since the fall of 2025, and I am so excited to take on the role of her coleader this summer! I have always been one of His children, but I became especially interested in further exploring my faith when Cait entered my life. We meet 5:00-6:00 p.m. CST via ZOOM every Monday from Oct. 12th-Nov. 23rd for seven weeks.
Proverbs 27:17 MenThis men’s group is built around Proverbs 27:17, *“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”* Together, we’ll dig into God’s Word, encourage one another, and challenge each other to grow in faith and character. Our time will include honest conversation, prayer, and practical steps for living out biblical wisdom in everyday life. If you’re looking for authentic brotherhood and a place to be sharpened in your walk with Christ, this group is for you.
Putt it in God's HandsWe will meet every other Wednesday starting July 1st from 5–6:30pm. We will begin the group doing a 25-minute devotional study on the attributes of God, followed by 5 minutes of prayer and prayer requests. We will then spend the next hour and a half hitting the local 9 greens (they have a sand trap so we will be chipping and putting). The last week of group (August 12th) we will set up tee times back-to-back and do a small group scrimmage. There is no cost for us using the greens; therefore, the only cost of the group will be for the last week tee time, which will be $32/person. You will need to bring your own clubs or call Pebble Creek Golf Course to set up a rental. Feel free to bring your Bible for our study! All are welcome, but please make sure to sign up as we are limited on number of spaces available.

Relaxed Book StudyLife often comes with overwhelming feelings of grief, anxiety, stress, financial hardships, shame, guilt, fear, and fatigue. The truth is that we serve a God who does not worry about a thing and will love and guide us through hard times. We will join together once a week to discuss what we have learned from the reading as we seek peace in our God who knows what He is doing. Please purchase the book "Relaxed" by Megan Fate Marshman before the first session, and be prepared to read small sections of the book each week in preparation for group discussion.
Relaxed—A Book StudyRelaxed is a book about how we can cultivate a life of walking with God at an unhurried pace in our everyday routines based on Proverbs 3:5–6.
Rooted Homeschool MomsI am a homeschool mom to 4 children ages 18 (girl), 16 & 15 (boys), and 6 (girl). I felt a prompting from God to lead this group for homeschool moms looking for Christian community for themselves and their children. My hope for this Bible study is for homeschool moms to have the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word alongside other women in the same season of life. I hope we can grow in our faith, share homeschool ideas, and create a Christian community with each other and our children. We will be reading In Christ Alone: A Study on the Book of Romans. This book can be purchased on Amazon. We will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00–11:30am at my home in Otsego. Children are encouraged to come along, so they can meet and play together.
Run + Walk ClubGrab your walking or running shoes and join us at the lake for community, conversation, and movement! Whether you prefer to walk or run, this will be an opportunity to connect with others from our church while enjoying the gift of moving our bodies and staying active together. As we walk and run around the beautiful views of Lake Harriet, we’ll encourage each other, and talk about how God is moving in our lives. I’m so excited to see the friendships God forms and the ways He speaks through this group this summer!
Saturday Worship and FellowshipThis group is designed for singles in their 30s and 40s who want to grow in faith and community. Our primary focus is worshiping together—we’ll meet at the Eagle Brook Anoka Campus each Saturday evening for the 5:30pm service and then enjoy dinner afterward for connection and conversation. This is not a dating group, but a Christ-centered community where encouragement, accountability, and authentic friendships can grow. I believe the best friendships begin at the table. To help us build meaningful relationships, we ask that members commit to attending at least half of the scheduled gatherings. If you’re looking for a place to belong, to experience God’s Word in community, and to walk alongside others in a similar season of life, we’d love for you to join us!
Seeking Christian FriendsWere you a sports mom? Are you close to being a empty nester? Did your last child just graduate? Do you have more free time than before? Are you seeking Christian friends? Can you relate to any of these? If so, then come and join other women on the west side of the cities to meet new friends.
Stars and StripesThis group is for US Armed Forces veterans only. We will watch the 5-video study "Called to Serve: Utilizing Our Gifts as Veterans" and discuss it, as well as mix it up with some other activities, to be determined by the group (a few ideas: volunteering, disc golf, motorcycling, beach volleyball).
Stay at Home Moms of 0-3 Year OldsThis group is for stay-at-home moms with little ones, including at least one child under 3 years old. As a stay-at-home mom who recently moved to Apple Valley, I know how hard it can be to find meaningful community in this season of life. The purpose of this group is to create a welcoming space where moms can connect with other women in a similar season, build real and intentional friendships, and grow together in Christ-centered community. We’ll meet weekly at a local park so both moms and little ones can enjoy time together in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Stroller MomsBring your stroller, your kid(s), and a heart for fellowship as we grow in friendship and faith one step at a time. Join us for a weekly 2-mile stroller walk where moms with young children can connect, build friendships, and encourage one another in faith. As we walk, we’ll share life together, pray for each other, and create a supportive community for moms navigating the joys and challenges of raising little ones. I am a young mom coming out of the infant stage, excited to create a space for fellowship for mom in the challenging and blessed season of becoming a mom.
Summer of Motherhood & ConnectionJoin us this summer for Summer of Motherhood & Connection as we gather a community of moms seeking connection, encouragement, and growth in faith together. We will gather every other Friday morning for coffee, conversation, and the Bible study Mom Set Free, encouraging one another to find freedom, purpose, and peace in Christ amid the demands of motherhood. We are Nicole and Kelsey — two moms navigating the beautiful and busy seasons of motherhood with kids ages 2–8. In the middle of schedules filled with sports, dance, daycare, work, and everyday responsibilities, we know how important it is to have a place to pause, be encouraged, and connect with other women who understand the journey. Whether you’re a first-time mom or have years of motherhood behind you, you are warmly welcome. Come as you are and be encouraged through community, conversation, and faith.
Swings and SermonsA group of moms getting together at a park so their kids can play while we talk about being a Christian mother. We will meet at John Ward Park, Anoka. Day of the week can be changed if Sunday's do not work for majority of the group.

The Second MileAre you a divorced dad who sometimes wonders how life ended up so different from what you imagined years ago? Do you feel worn down by the constant demands, busyness, and pressure of everyday life? Are you longing for genuine peace, purpose, and joy? A few years ago, I found myself asking those same questions. During that season, God placed a book in my path, through its message, He began to open my eyes to where true peace and lasting joy are found—not in doing more, but in living more fully according to His will. I'm looking for a band of brothers who want to slow down, grow in faith, and seek God's direction for the next chapter of their lives. We'll begin by studying this powerful book together, encouraging one another along the way. After that, we'll trust God to lead us into whatever adventure he has planned next.
The Story of EverythingConversations about the book The Return of the God Hypothesis and the movie The Story of Everything. This thought-provoking group will dive into the evidence for God, the meaning behind our existence, and how faith and science intersect.
Three Helpful QuestionsWe will be meeting 6:30–8 pm, Mondays. We will read and discuss the book "Why Do I Do What I Don't Want To Do" and develop ways to replace deadly vices with life-giving virtues.
Together Through the UnexpectedAfter walking through infertility, pregnancy loss, and a NICU journey, we know that life doesn’t always go as planned. Join us as we work through "This Is Not What I Signed Up For" by Nicole Unice, and explore how God meets us in life’s unexpected seasons. We welcome couples seeking hope, encouragement, and deeper faith through life’s challenges. We can be flexible with the day and time we meet depending on the group’s preferences. Children are welcome!
Transparent Recovery Support GroupTaking the first step takes guts. You might be wondering if this group is right for you. It is. At Transparent Recovery, we drop the act. We face our struggles head-on. You do not have to carry the weight alone anymore. Transparency with God and each other is our absolute foundation. When you stumble, you say so. When you succeed, we celebrate. You will find zero judgment here. Drop the armor. Speak the truth. Find strength in the brotherhood. We have a spot waiting for you. Come see what happens when you stop fighting alone.
Veggie Tales Rapid Fire (Garden Group)We will quickly meet for 30 minutes each week to share and celebrate our summer gardening (veggies/flowers) successes while helping each other who are having challenges with weeds/pests/lack of growth/etc. Learn more about vegetable/fruit/flower gardening while reviewing short, related Bible passages in this low intensity (perfect first time) group. If you are planning to grow veggies/flowers for the first time this summer or if you are a veteran, I’d love to have you in this group! Women and ArtWomen are wired to create, draw, write, paint, knit; God has made with the desire to express ourselves in some way. How often the business of life doesn't allow us to do that. Here is a space where you can come, meet other women and make a simple art project and connect.
Women of Worth — Single & ChildfreeAre you looking to connect with other single, childfree women who have a love of Jesus? Join our group where we'll talk about all the wonderful things the bible says about "singleness" and the important role we play. We might not always feel like we fit in with society, but we are worthy, valued, and beloved daughters of God. Each week we'll go over a "singleness" devotional from the Bible App, YouVersion, to grow deeper in our faith journey as singles. Jeremiah 29:11—"'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'"
Women’s Book StudyThis book is similar to C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters—an older demon training a younger demon how to take down the Christian woman. It challenges women to think through many issues women face through their lifetime and see the Enemy's schemes. When we know the Enemy's schemes and lies, we can recognize them and replace them with Biblical truth.
Women's Book StudyWhether you’re in the throes of a divorce, still processing things that happened years ago, in a better relationship now, or walking with someone you love through a devastating season, help is not far away and God deeply cares for you. Surviving an Unwanted Divorce offers biblically based, practical strategies for navigating loss, shame, intense loneliness, and the unfairness of it all as one life season ends; and a new hope-filled season begins. Answers to questions like: Does God hate divorce? How do I stop feeling so angry about all that has been taken from me? Why hasn’t God stopped all this tragedy from happening? How do I walk toward a future I never envisioned? How long is it going to take to heal? Even if you are in a better place right now, it helps to process and let go of emotional baggage that is still affecting your present.
Women's Sculpture Garden GatheringJoin me this summer in reading the book "The Missing Messiah" by Kyle Idleman and Mark Moore. We’ll meet at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden for conversation, fellowship, and prayer in a scenic outdoor setting (the Cardamom inside the Walker Art Center will be our backup plan if the weather doesn’t cooperate). Bring your book, a blanket, and your favorite cold drink, and come ready for meaningful discussion, spiritual growth, and connection with others!
Working Women's Coffee GroupWhether you work outside of the home, remotely, hybrid, own your own business, etc. this small group is inviting you to pause, gather, and grow together as we meet in my home on Monday mornings over coffee.
