Rivers and Stars West-Metro Outdoors Summer Group

Description

Study is based on a paperback book of God the Creator speaking through nature. You need to be rugged (we meet outdoors ALL the time). You need to read two chapters weekly from the paperback text and complete the week’s questions for live discussion when we meet in person. We meet for one-hour discussion of the paperback and its cited scripture, and one-hour actively in nature. Location varies by chapter topic. e.g. Seeds chapter meets in a 3-Rivers Park District park, the Birds-in-Flight chapter meets at a Wildlife Sanctuary. *You must have mobility to walk outdoors on unpaved trails and tolerate variable temperatures, rain or shine. You are required to bring your backpack each week, filled with: water bottle, Bible, your copy of the book, outdoor clothing to match the evening’s weather forecast, sunscreen, bug spray, flashlight, etc.
