YA&P (the & is silent) is a group oriented around reading and discussing the Bible together. YA&P is for young adults and professionals, both singles and couples, from college graduates to low 30s. We're Leah and Matthew Meidt, a pair of newlyweds, leading a group out of our home. Our desire is to build a community of people who love Jesus, enjoy studying His word together, and who love doing life together! What to expect: Doors open at 6:30 pm with snacks and drinks | Group starts at 7 pm with a an icebreaker | Afterwards, we will break into subgroups of ~8 and read scripture individually and go in a circle and share what stood out to you. | Around 8:30, we'll share prayer requests in our subgroups and pray for one another. | At 9PM, we will formally end but the fun continues until ~10:30PM informally | Coordinated via GroupMe.
