Breakfast Service at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities (UGMTC) in St. Paul

Description

UGMTC is a Christ-centered homeless shelter that provides shelter, three hot meals per day all year round, clothing, addition recovery, mental health services, Bible study, education and training, and career guidance, and job placement services. We will be serving a hot breakfast to between 125 and 300 men at UGMTC’s men’s campus. Each week, four or five of the twelve members of our group will join four experienced Eagle Brook volunteers who have been serving breakfast at UGMTC every Tuesday for two and a half years. The volunteer shift is from 6–8 am and includes prepping the dining room, serving breakfast, and cleaning up (cleaning all serving surfaces, wiping off tables and chairs, and sweeping and mopping the floor). This is a rewarding experience that helps fulfill UGMTC’s mission of changing lives through the power of God. James 2:14–18.
