The experience of making or simply appreciating art can be healing. In times of stress, the act of creating (whether a drawing, painting, collage or a garden) is calming and restorative. God, our Creator, the original Artist, is our Healer, and therefore it is healing being in the presence of His creation. We will explore various examples and ways in which the arts are healing, as well as the advantages of keeping house plants, plus house plant care. Esther's arts background includes a multi-disciplinary degree in drawing, painting, graphic design and photography. Her career path has also included dance performance and instruction. She has been entranced with art, plants and gardening since the age of five, and is a lifelong learner in all things art.
