Description
We are a group of three married couples navigating the dementia journey, and we would love to add one more husband and wife team! Our purpose is to discuss daily life challenges, offer support and encouragement to one another, share scripture, and pray for one another. The dementia dynamic may not allow both partners to fully participate, and that is perfectly fine! One important aspect of this group is to provide a "safe" place where we all can experience biblical community. A little background about us: my husband, Mark, was a pastor for 33+ years, retired, and was then diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia 5 years ago. I worked outside the home while supporting the ministry through worship leading, serving, and hospitality. We have one son, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. We look forward to meeting you!
