Description
This group is for men seeking to find their identity in Jesus Christ through a study of faith-based material. Meetings will be held in my home in Mendota Heights for coffee and fellowship every Tuesday morning beginning at 6am. For the summer session we will read through "The Ragamuffin Gospel" by Brennan Manning. God's grace can seem elusive, an ideal, or an unattainable mystery as we men sojourn through life. Manning leads us to the realization that God is in relentless pursuit of us, His "raggedy creation". There is little you have to do to deserve and receive the love of God. Manning declares, "yet God gives us His grace, willingly, no matter what we've done. We come to Him as ragamuffins - dirty, bedraggled, and beat up. And when we sit at His feet, He smiles upon us, the chosen objects of His 'furious love'." I look forward to diving in, together! ***Please note that our first meeting will occur at Groups Kick Off, Sunday, June 1, 1:30-3:30pm at the Woodbury campus! More details to follow via email upon successful registration for the group.***
