Description
If you are looking for a way to connect in community, enjoy the summer evenings hiking, and learn & develop ways to surrender control to God, this is your group. We will enjoy a leisurely hike (walk) in the amazing parks around St. Paul, Roseville, Maplewood, and White Bear Lake. The hikes will be about an hour and then proceed with a discussion around a weekly video sent out by the leader via email ahead of time. The videos that are sent out are no more than 16 minutes long and group members should watch the videos prior to the start of the hike, as there will be no time to watch after the hike and before the discussion starts. The book, "Cost of Control", by Sharon Hodde Miller does go along with the videos. Reading the book is encouraged, but not a requirement to join and attend this group. Everyone is welcome and the hikes are not challenging.
Our first meeting will be at the White Bear Lake Campus, Monday, June 3rd from 6:30-8:30 pm for the Groups Kick Off Event.
