Thinking about joining an online group? Check this one out! For our study, we will be reflecting on the Weekend message, and talking about as a group how to apply the elements of the message to our daily lives. As a side effect, we will also get to know others who attend EBC and build connections. This will very much be a collaborative group – meaning it won’t just be me talking the whole time, but rather me creating space for all to share and discuss. Additional Information: Who: Young-ish Adults (20-40) When/Where: Wednesday Nights from 7:30-9:00 PM (CST) Materials Needed: While no true books or study materials are needed, since this group will be primarily discussing the weekend message, it is critical you attend/view the weekend services! I will be asking group participants to come prepared to discuss your thoughts on the message and your takeaways! If you are ready to take your Weekend Messages Deeper, join us! About me: My name is David, and maybe you can relate to my story; I was raised in the church and always carried the label of Christian but during and after college found myself drifting from my faith. Nevertheless, God never gave up on me or turned his back on me. I was invited to Eagle Brook Church in 2018 by a friend, and that started the dominos to where I find myself now. As Romans 3:23 reminds, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – And while I am still far from perfect, I have found God’s grace is enough for even me. I pray that this group will help do the same for you. As far as hobbies go; I am a big sports fan, and love getting out an enjoying Gods wonderful creation. After Covid, I have become an avid reader, and a bit of a nature photographer which is much different than my day job; I work in corporate America as an HR Manager.
