Tired of the world always winning? Depressed by those in power following their own pursuits and ignoring God? Where is God and all His miracles of old? Elijah and Elisha were in the same boat! We will study the lives of these brave prophets and learn how they persevered and succeeded in bringing a nation back to God. God is still doing miracles, my friends! He wants to use us (US!) for great things! We will meet at our house from 7-8:30. We will share some dessert, learn each other’s stories, and study a passage from 1 Kings 17 through 2 Kings 13 each week. We will also draw on lessons from Steven Furtick’s book, “Greater,” which looks at Elisha’s life in detail. (Reading the book is absolutely optional, but it’s inspiring!) We can’t wait to meet all of you! We can’t wait to see what God has planned for our group!
