2 Thessalonians is a letter from Paul to a church in a thriving port community. The money is flowing and so is the persecution of Christians. Paul didn’t stay very long to help this new church get established because his message was so strongly opposed. He wrote this long-distance letter to help the church in Thessalonica navigate persecution, false teachings, weak work ethics and sexual sins. In this six-session series, pastor Ben Stuart will help us stand firm under pressure, trust in God's sovereignty, and keep working faithfully. We will be meeting in a Lake City home theater. The actual study is from 9:00 to 10:00 am sharp on Saturday mornings. Coffee and fellowship will start at 8:30 for early risers. Couples and singles are welcomed. We will kick off October 10th and end November 14th.
