Navigating Chronic Illness and Disability: A Peer Support Group for Young Adults (20s & 30s)

Description

As a single, disabled individual in my early 30s, I understand firsthand how profoundly isolating life with chronic illness can be. I am launching a small, peer-led support group designed to foster genuine community, where we can bear each other's burdens and offer mutual encouragement. This group is intentionally structured to be a low-energy, high-support environment. There is absolutely no outside homework or preparation required. Each week, our time together will consist of: Community Check-Ins: A safe, dedicated time to share the realities of our week and support one another. Video Series & Discussion: We will watch and discuss the RightNow Media series, I Am Strong: Suffering Well by John S. Dickerson. If you are looking for a space where your physical realities are understood and validated, I would love for you to join us. This group will meet Wednesday's at 6:30 pm.
