Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-lesson, money management course created by personal finance personality Dave Ramsey. It teaches practical and biblically based steps to build a household budget, eliminate consumer debt, build and emergency savings fund, and invest for future wealth. Using the “Baby Steps”, the curriculum guides participants through sequential milestones starting with a starter emergency fund, moving to the “debt snowball” method to wipe out debt, and finish with long-term investing and home payoff. The course costs $30 and includes year membership, digital resources, access to EveryDollar budgeting app, workbooks, and streaming video access.
