Description
Called to Respond Public Safety & Medical Fellowship: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” — 1 Peter 4:10. Called to Respond is a faith-based fellowship for those who serve others on the front lines—law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, healthcare, corrections, medical examiner/death investigation, emergency services, and others whose work regularly brings them into moments of crisis, suffering, and loss. Our careers often place us in situations that most people never see. We respond when someone is having the worst day of their life. We witness tragedy, provide care, make difficult decisions, comfort families, and sometimes carry experiences home with us. This group is a place to step away from the job and connect with people who understand. We will explore what the Bible says about service, purpose, and suffering.
