The Ruth Experience: Finding Hope and Persevering

God can seem distant when dreams fade, people die, or careers fail. It may feel like He slammed the door in your face and walked out for good. No one knows the feeling of abandonment more than Ruth and Naomi. Their story begins with the worst- death, famine, and poverty. And God remains silent. But the book of Ruth doesn’t end with despair because God works in ways they least expect. Walk through the book of Ruth with us, Lori and Natalie, as we go through their journey to discover the devoted love of God and his transformative power in our lives. We will meet every other Monday through the fall, volunteer together to help impact others, and end during Christmastime with a celebration of God’s faithfulness. Please note that we will meet at a house that has cats. We will meet every other Monday, ending on Wednesday 12/20, with volunteering at Feed My Starving Children on 11/8 from 7-8:30pm. Our first meeting will be at Group Kick-Off night, Sunday Oct 1st, 6:30-8:00 pm at the Ham Lake Campus.
